Since 1870, the YMCA has been serving thousands of people from the Greater Moncton area -- helping them to develop in spirit, mind and body. Through a strong volunteer and staff partnership, we fulfilled our dream of a new YMCA for Greater Moncton in November 2004. The spirit of volunteerism can be seen every day at our Y. . . in the shape of a fitness instructor, a committee member, a tutor working with a child, or a youth helping out in babysitting. With our growing membership, there are opportunities for everyone to get involved, regardless of age, experience, or how much time you have to give. Every year we thank our volunteers for their contribution to the YMCA at the Annual General Meeting and Volunteer Awards Banquet, paying tribute to those who demonstrate YMCA values through their actions.
